Recruiting Top International Talent through Online Contests: Attract, Select, Retain
Global competition for talents requires new tools for attracting talented youth. These tools should be accessible from any country, providing transparency and equality for every participant. Thus the international contests should be shaped to meet the requirements for new talents’ recruiting. Contest based on a tailored platform with proctoring control, fully promoted by digital tools (SMM, context advertising) meets all these requirements and could be implemented both for Bachelor and Master Degree talents’ search and selection. Basing on case-studies of two contests we’ll share hands-on practical experience and provide guidelines for all stages of contest process: design, promotion, selection, participants’ support and retaining. The session will also include an analysis of main problems and limitations as well as troubleshooting recommendations. Special attention will be paid to digital promotion tools that helped us reach 14 mln people and get nearly 9,000 participants in 2 months, turning online contests into one of the key instruments in attracting talents worldwide.
