Biography:

R Anderson Sutton is also Dean of the School of Pacific and Asian Studies at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, where he moved in 2013, after serving on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, teaching ethnomusicology and directing the Center for Southeast Asian Studies.  He is the author of four books and over 40 articles on music and culture in Indonesia and Korea.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Asia Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) and as UH Manoa’s Senior Staff representative for the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU).
